After completing the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) v13 training, you are prepared for the corresponding theoretical multiple-choice exam. Since this says little about your practical skills, EC-Council has introduced a second exam that demonstrates to clients or employers that you can apply the theory in practice: CEH Practical. When you pass this practical exam and the theoretical CEH exam, you will receive the CEH Master certification. The CEH v13 training includes a CEH Practical exam voucher, and this workshop helps you succeed in this additional exam.

CEH Practical is a 6-hour exam in which you must complete 20 practical ethical hacking challenges in a so-called Cyber Range, similar to what you might encounter in real life. During the exam, you work in a lab environment that simulates a complex network of a large organization, consisting of various network systems (including DMZ, Firewalls, etc.). Your task is to discover and exploit vulnerabilities as an ethical hacker while testing various systems. You will use techniques such as threat vector identification, network scanning, OS detection, vulnerability analysis, system hacking, and web application hacking.

During our CEH training, you will already work with a large number of hacking tools and labs. Even after this training, you will have access to a lab environment for another six months where you can continue to work on your practical skills. However, the CEH Practical exam proves to be difficult for many participants. If you wish for extra help and want to become a CEH Master, this 1-day workshop will provide you with the necessary tips, tricks, and additional guided practical exercises that are very specifically tailored to this exam. This way, you optimally prepare for the CEH Practical exam and reduce the chance that you will need a (costly) retake.
