IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) is the world's largest non-profit association for privacy professionals, founded in 2000. It offers training, certifications (such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT), and conferences on data privacy, AI governance, and information security. With over 50,000 members, IAPP helps professionals navigate complex privacy legislation, including the GDPR. 

IAPP is known for offering internationally recognized certifications: 

• CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe): The standard for European privacy legislation (GDPR), or the legal framework
• CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager): Focused on privacy management and establishing a privacy program, in short, ensuring the legal framework in business operations
• CIPT (Certified Information Privacy Technologist): Focused on privacy in technology and IT systems
• AIGP (Certified AI Governance Professional): IAPP's newest certification on managing AI risks using AI Governance. 

IAPP's mission is to provide tools, research, and networking opportunities to support privacy professionals in the digital economy.
