Description

After the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) training, you will be able to understand the methods of hackers and know the techniques and tools to break into an organization. If you want to bring more structure to your penetration testing, learn to write exploits, learn to pentest complex environments (including, for example, IoT systems or ICS/SCADA process automation), better analyze the outcomes of tools or scripts, learn to report, or gain (further) practical experience during challenging hands-on labs, then you should take the CPENT training.

The CPENT training is the successor to the ECSA training and was developed to provide you with the broadest possible preparation for both basic and more advanced pentesting work. During the training, you will work in an enterprise network environment with different layers and segments that are not directly connected to each other. In many challenges, out-of-the-box thinking and modifying scripts and exploits are necessary to penetrate the most secure areas of the network. Of course, topics such as OSINT, Web Application, Wireless, and Cloud Penetration Testing will also be covered.

The goal of the training is to provide a complete preparation for the work as an (advanced) pentester and to get you ready for the 24-hour (or 2x12 hour) CPENT exam, with which you can obtain the corresponding certification.

Working method

The CPENT training is classroom-based but can also be attended Live Online if desired. You will then follow the training live from a distance with our own instructor, view the notes on the whiteboard, participate in all labs, and can ask questions to both the trainer and your fellow participants. So, it's basically just like being present at the classroom training, but from your own location. If the Live Online training did not meet your expectations, you may attend the classroom version with us again free of charge within a year.

Certification

This training prepares you for the corresponding CPENT exam. This exam can be taken in two ways: One hands-on performance-based practical exam of 24 hours Two hands-on performance-based practical exams of 12 hours Within seven days after completing the 24-hour exam or the second 12-hour exam, you must submit a Pentest report containing your findings. If you score above 70%, you will obtain the CPENT certification. Those who score above 90% will additionally become Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT) Master.
