Since May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or privacy regulation, has been in effect and is important for all organizations in Europe that process personal data. The GDPR contains very detailed obligations for organizations that process personal data to protect that data and further expands the privacy rights of consumers, employees, citizens, and patients.

This interactive session is provided by an experienced consultant/trainer and gives you the tools to start implementing the regulations within your own organization. There is plenty of room for asking questions that are relevant to your organization/situation, where you will also learn from the answers of other participants.

This workshop helps you to understand the scope of the regulations (awareness of the role of privacy and where/why). You will gain knowledge of the GDPR at a high level, sufficient to fulfill, for example, a consultancy role: being able to advise with sound and robust reasoning. Additionally, you will be able to provide substantive information and considerations (policy preparation) for operational and tactical policy based on the GDPR.
