The AAIR training provides you with the strategic skills to guide management in dealing with AI-related risks and to protect organizations against potential financial and reputational damage. This AI-focused IT risk management certification was specifically developed by ISACA to expand the expertise of existing, certified IT risk professionals with targeted knowledge of AI and its associated risks.
With the rapid rise of AI solutions and threats, it is essential to collaborate quickly and effectively across the organization and to advise appropriate measures for specific AI risks. The AAIR training helps risk professionals develop a deep understanding of AI technologies and the associated challenges. During the training, topics such as AI Risk Governance, AI Life Cycle Risk Management, and AI Risk Program Management are covered.
Because a concrete AI Risk Assessment receives minimal attention during the regular 2-day course, you will take the AAIR training exclusively at TSTC with an additional added day. On this third, practically oriented day, we will delve deeper into actually conducting an AI Risk Assessment based on the guidelines from the progressive OWASP AI Exchange. By adding this extra (non-exam) material, you will gain a more complete picture of an organization-wide AI Risk policy and will be able to guide others through the necessary steps from a management point of view.
The AAIR training and exam consist of three 'job practice areas' (see the 'modules' section). ISACA continuously assesses their content against current events to ensure that the training remains aligned with the contemporary profile of the (AI) Risk Manager.
