The ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation training provides you with the core principles needed to establish and manage an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS) in accordance with ISO/IEC 42001. This training is designed to give you essential foundational knowledge that lays a solid groundwork for further expertise in AIMS.
Participating in the ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation training is an important step for professionals who want to deepen their knowledge of AIMS. The training covers the essential aspects of ISO/IEC 42001, including understanding the context, developing policies, risk management planning, support, operations, performance evaluation, and emphasis on internal audits, management reviews, and continuous improvement.
By completing this training, you will gain valuable insights and be well-prepared for the certification exam. The PECB ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation certification demonstrates that you have a thorough understanding of the fundamental methodologies, requirements, and management approaches that are essential for an effective AIMS.
In addition to the regular 2-day training, we have added an extra, first EU AI Act day, which clarifies what organizations need to comply with in each situation. This day also makes it clear to what extent you are sufficiently prepared with an ISO 42001 implementation and where additional effort may still be required. Upon request, this training can also be taken without the EU AI Act day.
In the ISO 42001 Foundation exam, you will be assessed on the following domains, which the training will prepare you for:
This training is classroom-based but can also be attended Live Online if desired. You follow the training live from a distance with our own instructor, view the slides and notes on the whiteboard, and can ask questions to both the trainer and your fellow participants. So actually, it's just like being present at the classroom training, but from your own location. If the Live Online training was not entirely to your satisfaction, you may attend it again in person with us free of charge within a year.
