The Certified BIO2 Professional Foundation (CBP-F) training is the training you follow when you are involved in the implementation, management, or maintenance of the Baseline Information Security Government (BIO2) and are looking for more knowledge in this area and/or certification.

As of January 1, 2019, the Baseline Information Security Government (BIO) was introduced as the standard framework for information security within the Dutch government and is mandatory for the National Government, Municipalities, Water Authorities, and Provinces. With the introduction of BIO2, the government aligns with the European NIS2 directive and further tightens the duty of care regarding information security. BIO2 is based on internationally recognized standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and provides an integral framework that allows governments to effectively manage risks in an increasingly complex digital world.

This BIO2 Foundation training covers a practically applicable methodology in which information security for the government is structured as a quality model. In the training, you acquire the essential knowledge and expertise that enable you to implement information security in accordance with BIO2 within your role. The training is a recognized exam preparation for the Certified BIO Professional Foundation (CBP-F) exam. After passing this exam, you will be CBP-F certified.
