For many organizations and their management, the European NIS2 directive and the related Dutch Cybersecurity Act (CBW) bring a lot of uncertainty. What exactly is stated in the law and what obligations arise from it for the organization? How far are we still from the requirements and how can we pragmatically deal with these requirements so that our security policy and the associated measures timely align with the legislation? We will answer these questions in the training Certified NIS2 Professional (CNIS2) - 'Managing NIS2'.
The first day of the training includes a thorough theoretical explanation of the background and components of the NIS2 directive and the associated obligations, roles, and responsibilities. Of course, the Dutch situation will also be examined. You will learn how our government has translated the NIS2 into the Cybersecurity Act and how the Cybersecurity Decree further concretizes this for various organizations.
The second day is largely practical and helps you gain insight into the focus areas for your organization through a clear GAP analysis. You can further develop this initial analysis after the course with the knowledge and materials you receive in the training. Furthermore, the GAP analysis can be independently redone afterwards. For example, for clients or a specific organizational component.
If you are looking for a longer training on the NIS2/CBW or are involved in the implementation of the law, then our 5-day NIS2 Lead Implementer training is a good alternative.
