The training further helps you provide seamless experiences and self-service management capabilities to all users. Finally, we cover adaptive access and the management of your identity and access management solutions so that you can troubleshoot, monitor, and report any issues with an environment.

The identity and access administrator can be a single person or part of a larger team. The training teaches how this role collaborates with many other roles in the organization to get strategic identity projects off the ground. The main goal is to provide you with the necessary knowledge to modernize identity solutions and implement hybrid identity solutions plus identity management.

Who is the SC-300 Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator training suitable for?

To successfully participate in the training, you should have:

• Knowledge of security best practices and security requirements, such as Defense-in-Depth, least privileged access, shared responsibility, and a zero trust model.
• Identity concepts such as authentication, authorization, and active directory.
• Some experience with implementing Azure workloads. This course does not cover the basics of Azure management, but the course content builds on that knowledge by adding security-specific information.
• Some experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and scripting languages is helpful but not required. Course labs may use PowerShell and the CLI.
