This written, also available online, Dutch-language cybersecurity training prepares you for the internationally recognized Cybersecurity Fundamentals certificate from ISACA. You not only enhance your technical security knowledge but also acquire practical skills to effectively recognize and mitigate cyber threats.
The written course consists of nine compact, content-rich lessons (with an optional exam training day) and provides a very comprehensive overview of the technical foundation of cybersecurity. Additionally, this training is a preparation for ISACA’s Cyber Security Fundamentals exam, in which your knowledge of the following four domains will be tested:
In the lessons, we delve into the technical concepts, standards, and best practices that are essential in modern security environments. In addition to the mandatory exam material for the Cybersecurity Fundamentals exam, this training includes extensive practical cases, realistic scenarios, and much additional content that goes beyond the exam. The trainers translate the primarily American principles into concrete guidelines for the Dutch situation, so you know exactly how to apply the knowledge in your own environment.
Even if you are not directly pursuing certification, this technical cybersecurity training is extremely valuable: you gain a solid substantive foundation and immediately applicable tools for your daily practice.
On a date of your choice, you will receive the first lesson of the written course 'Cybersecurity course'. After receiving your registration, we will contact you, and you can indicate how you would like to receive the training further. You can choose between an interval (weekly/bi-weekly) or receiving the entire course at once.
Each lesson part takes about four hours of self-study. Our advice is to follow one lesson part weekly.
In addition to a physical course binder, you will receive a year-long access to your own online learning environment. This online version of the course is comparable to an eBook and is identical to the paper version of the course.
If you also want to take the ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals exam, you can optionally conclude the training with a classroom exam training day. This will not only practice the theory but also the performance-based questions you can expect in the exam.
