In the CGEIT training, you gain knowledge about applying organization-wide IT governance principles and actions. With CGEIT, you demonstrate that you possess the skills to implement IT governance (= sound management) in an organization and are able to approach this complex subject holistically, thereby directly adding value to the enterprise.
This training and the associated CGEIT certification can contribute to your status and position in discussions regarding crucial issues surrounding governance and strategic directions. Often, CGEIT is also a stepping stone to chief positions in an organization where other participants already hold this position.
Owners, boards, and senior management expect IT to directly add value to the business. IT governance is therefore an indispensable part of enterprise governance and success. In this training, you will learn, for example, how to align the IT strategy with the broader business strategy so that it connects to and contributes to business objectives.
In preparation for the CGEIT training, you will receive the official ISACA study material, including practice questions, upon registration. This way, you enter the classroom training better prepared and can ask more targeted questions based on the material covered to the experienced instructor. Dit domein biedt inzicht in waar IT-middelen effectief kunnen worden ingezet en hoe je ervoor zorgt dat IT-middelen worden geoptimaliseerd voor prestaties.
De focus van dit domein ligt op het managen van prestaties, monitoring en rapportage, en het analyseren van het beheer van technologie-investeringen die door IT worden mogelijk gemaakt.
Dit domein gaat over het beperken van potentiële IT-risico’s en uitdagingen en het toezicht houden op de risico’s binnen de IT-managementcapaciteiten.
