In this course, you will research cloud operations and what it means to be a certified cloud master; deploy and configure various Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud services; employ automation tools such as Chef™ and Puppet® to manage cloud services; explore data import/export techniques and considerations; manage security and compliance in the cloud; and plan and execute a phased cloud migration.

Certified CloudOps Specialist is de tweede training van drie waarin u wordt opgeleid tot de CloudMASTER certficering van de National Cloud Technologists Association (NCTA). In de drie trainingen doet u alle vaardigheden op die nodig zijn om een brede range aan cloud technologieën van een groot aantal leveranciers succesvol te selecteren, implementeren en beheren.

Uniek aan deze opleiding is de vendor-neutrale benadering waarmee u aantoont in staat te zijn cloud technologie succesvol bij een organisatie te kunnen managen, implementeren en beheren ongeacht de gekozen leverancier.

In de NCTA Cloud Technologies trainingen wordt nadrukkelijk aandacht besteed aan het opdoen van hands-on ervaring in de live web-based omgevingen van de diverse vendors.  

Certificering

Deze training is de tweede in het CloudMASTER traject dat uit drie trainingen en examens bestaat. U rondt deze training af met het NCTA-Certified CloudOps Specialist (NCO) examen NCO-110 waarmee u de bijbehorende titel kunt behalen.

Voor wie is deze training geschikt?

Deze training is ontwikkeld voor systeembeheerders of cloud technologists die hun vaardigheden met betrekking tot het beoordelen, toepassen en beheren van cloud diensten verder willen ontwikkelen. Dit houdt tevens in het beoordelen en selecteren van PaaS oplossingen en het toepassen van applicaties in de cloud als ook het onderhouden, beveiligen en optimaliseren van cloud oplossingen om de beste Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) en Return on Investment (RoI) te verkrijgen.

Om deze cursus met succes te kunnen doorlopen is ervaring met basis netwerk- en serverbeheer een pré, evenals een goede kennis van cloud technologieën (bijvoorbeeld door de reeds gevolgde NCTA Certified Cloud Technologist training). Daarnaast zou u bekend moeten zijn met het beoordelen, selecteren en implementeren van SaaS oplossingen.
