Met Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) toon je aan over de kennis en vaardigheden op associate niveau te beschikken die nodig zijn om Cisco netwerken te beveiligen. In deze training komen de ontwikkeling van de security infrastructuur, het herkennen van bedreigingen en kwetsbaarheden in netwerken en de risicovermindering van security bedreigingen aan bod.

Het CCNA Security programma behandelt de belangrijkste beveiligingstechnieken, installatie, probleemoplossing en het monitoren van netwerkonderdelen waarmee de integriteit, vertrouwelijkheid en beschikbaarheid van data en devices kunnen worden behouden met behulp van de technologie die Cisco gebruikt in z'n beveiligingsstructuur.  

Discussies, lessen en hands-on lab oefeningen geven je de kennis en vaardigheden die nodig zijn voor het uitvoeren van basistaken rondom het beveiligen van een klein tot gemiddeld kantoor netwerk gebruikmakend van beschikbare Cisco security features.
